Who we are

This website (basketball.estec-sscc.net) belongs to the ESTEC Basketball Club, a recreational club for the ESA ESTEC community. For anything regarding your personal data, contact us at ESTECBasketBall@esa.int.

What we collect

When you visit. Our hosting provider, [hosting provider name], automatically records standard technical logs (such as your IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. They are not used to identify you.

Membership data

To run the club, the committee (in particular the Treasurer) keeps basic membership records — typically your name, email and which fee you paid — obtained when you join and pay. This supports our legitimate interest in running the club, is kept for as long as you are a member and up to [retention period] afterwards, and is not published on this website.

Payments

Membership fees are paid through Bunq using the links on our Membership page. Your payment details are collected and processed by Bunq, not by this website — we never see or store your card or bank credentials. Please refer to Bunq’s own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies needed for it to function (e.g. standard WordPress cookies). We do not use advertising or analytics/tracking cookies. [If you later add analytics, update this section and add a consent banner.]

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We only rely on the providers needed to operate: our hosting provider and Bunq for payments. [Add any others you actually use.]

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email ESTECBasketBall@esa.int. You may also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Security & changes

We take reasonable measures to keep our website and the limited data we hold secure, including keeping our software up to date and restricting administrative access. We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
